Materials & Mobilization
- Order drywall materials, framing components, insulation, and specialty products
- Mobilize crews and deliver materials to the jobsite
- Complete metal stud framing (if included in scope)
- Install backing, blocking, and specialty framing
- Install insulation (if included)
Installation & Finishing
- Hang drywall on walls and ceilings
- Install cornerbead, trim, and drywall accessories
- Tape and finish drywall through multiple coats
- Sand and prepare surfaces for texture or paint
- Apply texture finishes (if specified)
- Complete specialty finishes, Level 5 finishes, or decorative details as required
Closeout
- Conduct internal quality control inspections
- Address punch list items identified by the general contractor or owner
- Perform final walkthrough with the client or general contractor
- Complete final touch-ups and corrections
- Obtain project acceptance and close out the drywall scope
- Submit final documentation, warranties, and closeout paperwork
